1929 Launch of the brand "MILLA". Milla, derived from the name Emilia, of Ludwig Herout's wife.
1952 The company moves to todays headquarter in Vienna-Hütteldorf in the 14th district which was a former brewery building.
1953 Launch of the premium brand „SENNA“. SENNA as the first brand for margarine is derived from the name of Josef Ebhart's wife whose name was Anna.
1957 Company take-over by the ÖMOLK / MARESI – Company.
1972 SENNA starts specializing on bulk consumers - bakeries, patisseries, gastronomy, canteens and the food industry.
1994 Renaming of the company in "SENNA Nahrungsmittel GmbH".
1996 Certification according to ÖNORM EN ISO 9001.
1999 SENNA becomes a subsidiary company of the Austrian VIVATIS Holding.
2000 Foundation of the Italian subsidiary SENNA s.r.l. Bozen.
2004 Certification according to the International Food Standard IFS.
2008 SENNA achieves the City of Vienna’s environmental prize for the 10th time.
